George McQueeney was recently honored with the Hugh W. McKee

Memorial Award from the National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals

(NAOESP) for outstanding achievements and contributions in the industry.

He was presented the award at a convention in Hershey, PA.

George is currently serving his second term as acting President of the NAOESP. He is the 1st sitting President to receive the award.

George has been the Service Manager at East River Energy for 22 years. He is responsible for all service and equipment sales.

An active member of the Killingworth Lions, he was Lion of the Year twice in the past ten years. George was also a recipient of the CT Knight of the Blind, which is the highest award given to a CT Lion.

A resident of Killingworth, George is married with two grown daughters and grandson.
